I am sorry that my mother is dead and that might mean I don't want to watch the ducking movies with you?

Nor do I want to attend the tribes ceremonies.

I also don't feel like fixing problems that can wait, no matter how many times you scream at me to run to the rescue and make them disappear.

She and my friend should have picked a different month to die on I guess.

It is pretty inconvenient for your personal plans, I understand.

Your favorite movie is far more important.

Sorry about your mom. You have every right to tune out other people’s petty issues. And your friend died too? It’s awful how tragedies tends to strike all at once. Take care of yourself, you’re entitled to a bit of selfishness right now.

@Zeuro I am so angry that I wasn't allowed to grief in piece. I worked for 14+ hours no breaks or anything. I finish work to be met with assholary.

I will calm down though in time. Thank you. You have always been such sweetheart to me. Don't think I don't notice you, charming lady.

@Miram of course <3 and I’m surprised you weren’t able to get some paid time off to grieve. I feel like that should be required.

@Zeuro i re-read that and my spelling is all duked.

Yes, I can take time out but I am not sure there won't be consequences for my patients. I also don't know how to cope without work. I don't trust the person who is supposed to replace me. There will be someone else in a few weeks and I can relax better then.

@Miram ah, healthcare industry? What is your position?

@Zeuro I am an obstetrician and an emergency medicine specialist. Fun stuff, sometimes.
