Life just loves to pile on

Even after keeping our AC cranked to 80° and reducing the use of our washer, dryer, and dishwasher, our electric bill is still $546. WTF

Arizona is becoming unlivable.

I get a lot of "HIGH POWER CONSUMPTION" e-mail notices from SRP when the house is full of grandkids.

The little caveat at the bottom says:
Please check you AC and other major appliances for issues that may be affecting your high-power consumption.

So....didn't you recently mention that your AC was f*cking up?

@Threepio our rental management company sent people out to fix it. The problem is that the unit is too small for the size of the house. So we cranked it up to 80° and I have a portable AC in my room that I only use at night. Still, our bill is astronomical.
@DearAmbellina2113 My house is basically 2000sq ft. I keep the AC at 78 except for the hours of 3PM - 6PM when it cycles up to 81 (3-6 PM is the High Cost "on peak" hours of my SRP EZ3 plan). My bill for June was $287
