Ozzy Osbourne -The Prince of Darkness
Ozzy was my go to. My lean into whenever life hit me hard.
He was also there for the good times and all of my celebrations.
I haven’t ever shed a tear for a celebrity before now, but losing him feels harsh as if a part of my life has been ripped from me. I saw him in concert only 4 times from the million concerts he performed and I never met him.
But through his music I felt as if he knew me somehow.
Like hey, here’s a guy that kinda understands me.
I’m so saddened by this loss, but I’m glad that he had that last time on stage. Just like he said back in the late 80’s “I’ll keep performing until they can’t wheel me out on stage anymore.” Or something like that…
John Micheal Osbourne was a man that touched almost every part of my life in one form or another with his art, and I can’t ever thank him enough for being who he was or singing what he sang.
He may have been The Prince of Darkness, but he brought light and clarity to me more times than I could ever count. I’m so sorry that he’s gone and I wish his family peace and comfort in their time of healing.
