It's okay to mourn a death but remember this:

"The day following the genocide of Hai Rais (August 29, 1997)— more than 500 victims, the majority of them women and children —, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash and her death was on the front pages of every media. I am referring to her on purpose because our painful memories could not believe that nobody mentioned our own little princesses."
– Zazi Sadou

This quote from 1997 applies even beyond its original context. Honor the dead, it's a good thing to do. But not selectively.

Nonetheless this is Ozzie's day. RIP, Ozzie. I pray for those who are survived by you.

When rich people die though people care. Sudan is suffering from a civil war with both sides committing war crimes and not one mention on any news, millions are being held in internment camps which are in reality concentration camps by the Chinese government their only crime being muslim. But nobody cares about these things.
@Captainjackass This.

I only chose my example in particular because it's something I had been studying recently and that quote got stuck in my head.

Your example is more fresh.

They all count.
