Life seems pointless

Was checking my call logs for the last 6 months,

I have received calls from people either who want my help at work or money from me.

Not a single one to check up on me Or just to talk to me.

Yesterday I wanted to talk to someone but I can't think of single person that would want do that.

Hence the venting here.

You need friends. And I'm going to tell you something that's kind of a hard truth, that my mom told me a long time ago, before the meaning of the word friend was diluted to the point where it is now.

A friend of the kind you need is someone who comes over, someone you can hang out with, not just somebody you know from work or school or social media. Because we can lie to our friends online and our coworkers, and they'll never know the difference. But you can't lie to the people who can drop in anytime. You can't fool them into thinking you're okay.
