Yeah. Usually I pursue things. I also do things first, without asking permission. Even at work.

I was frustrated since I kept having to tell people something was wrong, and explain why. Yet nothing was done, and people did not always understand. So I decided it was time to put up, or shut up. I took matters into my own hands and fixed the problem, on my own.

I made a copy of the file with the problem, and edited my own copy. My plan was to share it when I was done, and see what they thought. I would no longer have to explain things, I could just exhibit them.

Well, they caught wind of what I was doing. I told one person and the word spread. Yet they were not upset, but insisted on gaining control of the process, and coordinating it. Then it slowed down, once more eyes were on it, and it had to be reviewed. So annoying. But the problem got fixed, and my nagging paid off in the end.

I have learned in life, sometimes if you want something done right, you must do it yourself!
@JoyfulSilence If that were only true. A lot of words to just say someone else is just themselves too (us versus them thinking it's compelling)
