I still don't like this

Even though the pain from my surgery has seen improvement, my mental state has not. Being sad and depressed from not being able to eat my comfort foods still hits harder than ever. It just constantly nags at me and continues to drive me to a darker and darker place. I hope that somehow, someway things start looking up because the path I'm on right now, may not last much longer.
