Is it normal for married women to talk that freely with other men?

Yesterday went to UB City mall again in my city Bangalore in India where i met and talked with foreign expat women multiple times. So yesterday i saw these 2 women(one mixed race and another white) sitting in the waiting area of a Boutique. I went and talked to them. The mixed race one who was half Latino half black welcomed me saying "Hey how are you doing?" and her white friend also welcomed me warmly. The half Black Half Latino one is an expat from US living in Bangalore for 4 years whereas the white one is her friend visiting her and also from US.

I said them i am a soon to be an MBA grad who likes socializing with foreigners and they said "Oh nice. We are foreigners by the way" and laughed and i laughed too. But unfortunately the mixed race one mentioned her husband and the white woman too said she is a mom. They looked young enough about 28-33 age range and I am 24 and i didnt know they were married. We had a good convo and even they were asking me questions but felt a bit disappointed as they werent single. But it felt good talking to them.
