I need to stop comparing myself to other people

I am not terrible and a failure

I am kind and curious about the world and that is enough.

But I am a mess this morning and that's okay too.

This is one of two days I get off of work (but I still work on this day too... But later).

It's time for a nap

If I may kindly offer some timely advice: There is no reason for ANY of us to compare ourselves to other persons.

@cuteblondegreyguy what thought helps you solidify that belief?

@caccoon When I was a teenager-from March 1978 until March of 1985-and-during most of that time-while suffering from the serious afflictions of neurological.circumstance based depression-I would incessantly compare myself to other persons. Eventually I received much needed life saving medicinal/psychological talk therapy-hence-I NO LONGER engage in the pointless, time consuming/wasting process of comparing myself to other persons.

@cuteblondegreyguy is there a specific thought that helps you?

@caccoon Yes-indeed-simply: "Jim-despite having been human enough to make mistakes over the past 60 years-I STILL like me. I certainly do NOT care what others think of me!" :)
