For people in the medical field.

Especially those working in fields that have to do with mental issues.
In your professional opinion, and having had the opportunity to read over hundreds of the things posted here.
What percentage of SW users, in your opinion, suffer from some kind of mental instability?

Population wise 40% reported issues most women
Allegedly over 75% face issues without seeking help and...
Over 90% of people at some point in their lives struggle with basic mental health problems including situational depression

@WowwGirl i agree with this
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@AngelUnforgiven are you in the field?
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
It goes up every year
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl wow that's a lot.
I have a question. And knowing you're in the field makes me feel a bit self conscious about asking a stupid question but .. how much of that is either caused or exacerbated by just run of the mill loneliness. Not having anyone to go to.

@Infamous607 it's really hard to determine a person's mental stability who is constantly in a destress state and quick to cry for help. Men used to never admit to depression. I think a lot over do it now (cry wolf) so the stats are not accurate.

I think 25 present TOPS should be on medication and back to the number 10
Who are critical in need of care.

In California 70% of men are depressed Arkansas it's like 11% .

So??????
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl I think of it as... It's hard to present a stable disposition while in the middle of a hurricane.
Good point!
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
Guys are tricky to pin down because of social expectations most don't report it.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl True, asking for help or even admitting that things get overwhelming sometimes make us feel inadequate and limp.
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 it's really unfair to guys really unfair
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 I'm sorry if you have felt that before
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
In the south woman are not supposed to cry in public or around children and the elderly.

The north is much much more open about their feelings.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl I don't know if it's unfair. Women have to deal with their own not fair nesses. Maybe as society's values evolve some people get lost in the transition.
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 in some places overseas nobody reports anything but suicide rates are crazy.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl I wonder why the difference?? It has to be the women!!!
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl No need to feel bad. It's all in us. Things we have to learn how to navigate. You know?
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 how many Asians do you see in clinics? Even in Asia 🌏
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 the difference is cultural and access to medical treatment.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl of course.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl I have no idea whatsoever what the answer to that question would be.
How many??
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 I've never seen one in over ten years come in.
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl wow.
Do you think that's a credit upon their culture because it doesn't foster those kinds of issues, or,
A discredit because it has made it to where they don't feel they should get treatment and just keep it to themselves?
WowwGirl · 36-40, F
@Infamous607 they can be fired or shunned there
Infamous607 · 46-50, M
@WowwGirl well, that's that then.
