Schrödinger's cat again

So he put the cat in the box, if you open it there's 50% possibilities for the cat to be dead or alive and that's how he explained quantum behaviour...right ?

So if you put a cat into the box and you open it and you have a dog, is this a way parallel dimensions and timeline jumps could be explained ? But then if you jump into a parallel timeline, scientists may be different too, your location, all sorts of things. How could you convince them that indeed this is what happened ?

well. sort of. it was an attempt to illustrate a thing known as 'superposition' where something is in two different states at the same time. you only know once you've opened the box (in quantum terms, your observation collapses the superposition and makes the particle decide on its state - make the cat decide to be either alive or dead for the example.

I wonder if I can find the really cool youtube about observation changing things with lasers. it was mind melting, kinda.

The observer is the hinge upon which all measurements and experiments turn. Change the observer, and the entire environment shifts.

The concept of parallel universes doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a replica of you out there—but rather, distinct entities existing with entirely different dimensions of perception.

@being We observe events based on the capabilities of the observer. In science, we extend these capabilities using instruments—like microscopes—to measure what we can’t directly perceive. However, these tools are still bound to the physical realm. Even energy and thought are subtle forms of physicality. To go beyond the limits of physical observation, we would need a tool or method that is not physical in nature.

In the absence of non-physical means of perception, we create concepts like parallel universes or the idea that thoughts shape reality. Truth is there is no illusion—only reality—though it may defy our current logic and understanding.
That's deep 🤔

Stop eating the catnip 😅
Maybe Pavlov gave him the cat or he won it in a poker game 🤔
Maybe that’s why he had a dog instead 🤷🏼‍♂
What are the odds 😅
