Lots of sink holes in upstate new york. Is hydroponics the problem?

Too much ground water being removed. . . Compromises the structural integrity of underground water carverns and networks. So lets scale back?
"The recent sinkhole spate is attributed to the growth of irrigated crops and the associated groundwater level decline, as supports the temporal and spatial correlation. It is proposed that the water level drawdown entails an increase in the effective weight of the roof of relict cavities formed in the past."

You haven't heard of all of the underground tunnels? What do you think is going to happen when half of the ground is unstable?

@jehova if you buy property do it in the central part. not on either shore, or too far south 😉
