Took a shower.. it's a whole process here. To light the fire, warm up the stove, boil water...

Now I'm clean and feel taken care of. I sat by the stove afterwards and applied coconut oil to my skin and massaging my muscles..
It's a nice night. I had a milk tea and now eating some vegetables purée kind of..
As I was showering my cats must've been thinking how nuts this animal is (me:))

I had a good day. The landlord arrived with her friend and I went for asparagus hunting earlier on and so I made and offered them asparagus omelette and they brought cheese and bread and we had a little picnic lunch...
But as they were leaving I was feeling the excitement I've had as a remaining stress... sometimes gatherings do that, especially when one gets accustomed to being more alone.

The guy we've been flirting with who yesterday said it's over, today messaged me. Despite I was so happy to receive his message, I told him it's confusing. He said he'll stop it. I think it's a joke to him and I'm taking it too seriously. But I know these are just my thoughts and not the truth. On another note, I feel safer without this openness in my life, even if it sounds really sad, whilst I'm typing this.

Nevermind, my cats are here, one is missing but he's coming later usually.. they've got a life too!

No ticks found during shower...:D
Plus we had another sunny day.

A picture from the catcamp:)

If you're camped out anywhere near a federal or state park normally they have free showers you could also look at like a membership at a fitness center for like 10 bucks and at least allows you to go in and use their showers and their bathrooms. Hey we've all had many problems before hygiene should never be one.

@dale74 no it's volunteering from my side and I am enjoying this lifestyle 😊

Sounds like a good self care experience, shower and coconut oil should help you relax.
SW-User
@SageWanderer yes plus, I sat with my back to the stove and really warmed myself up...
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@SW-User On really cold nights I do that with the fireplace only difference being the use of peppermint eucalyptus oil.
SW-User
@SageWanderer mmmm I have some oregano oil...let me see...:)))

That's the kind of a situation where I'd shower in the rain as much as possible. Of course it rarely follows a predictible schedule
SW-User
@JohnnyNoir it's luckily sunny two days now and though I love the rain, I like too a warm shower inside
JohnnyNoir · 61-69, M
@SW-User lot of prep for it but I'm sure it feels good.

You're clean, smell of coconut oil, and tick free.

Not a bad way to be.
SW-User

calicuz · 56-60, M
Are you camping?
SW-User
@calicuz I'm volunteering to a cat refugee, three months living on a tiny house of one room on a hilltop...:) there's no electricity apart from a solar panel.. and very basics

SW-User
