Asked a girl for a coffee today and looks like she isnt interested about it. What do you think?

So i am currently interning in this EdTech startup where everyone is young in their 20s. I am 24 and have been talking to several girls who are also new interns like me in the office. After talking to some of these girls, i thought of asking this girl(lets call her K) who is 21-22 and an intern like me too to grab some coffee with me. We had been talking for a while and she seemed comfortable with me.

But after asking her whether she would like to grab a coffee with me, she answered "I will think and let you know" rather than a full yes or no. And i asked her for a 1 on 1 hang out tho as I dont really have a friends circle here and most of the approaches i made towards the girls have been me alone approaching them. Looks like she isnt really that interested in me tho given her reply.

Just maybe all the girls you have been chatting with one on one all have talked to each other about your approaches towards all of them, and maybe they do not know you well enough to say you're a good guy or you're just a player. Mind you this is also a work environment, and a lot of women do not like to mix workplaces with dates/dating as well.

I would talk with them all and let the one that shows interest back in you and your conversations to approach you. Being this is an internship needed for either school credit or money for school has a lot to do with I am not going to get tangled up in dating and ruin this for myself as well.

There is a lot more to consider than you just liking a girl.

@WillaKissing But this is a Startup where everyone is young in their 20s so its not as rigid as actual corporates. Plus we live in India in the city Bangalore so things are different than your country here. Plenty of guys and girls from my office hang out with each other during breaks. No one here cares if I talk with girls during breaks normally. I am perfectly professional during work hours. And no many of the girls I talked are from different friends circles actually and I only approached them during break hours and not during work hours. Most of them are completing college and grad school similar to me.

@Heroisthebest24 I have a better picture of your situation now that you shared about the startup and being in India verses the United States, but I bet those young ladies like my daughter put their grad school completion first over romantic entanglements maybe.

Especially in a male dominated culture as I have been told India is by women from India.

@WillaKissing Actually its like a mix. Some are completing their undergrads so 21-22 year olds whereas some are completing their grad school similar to me so about 23-26 age range. I am 24 so I don't think 21 and 24 age gap matters but yeah many are of us completing our education while we are interning and by August it will convert to full time as well.

@Heroisthebest24 Well there is the answer, awaiting to complete their educations first (Extremely Wise to do so) and waiting for their position to become permanent (Again Very Vise Choice).

Your ages are too closely related to have any bearing on the situation.
