You know when to hold back when pleasing others , otherwise you get very insecure if your constantly pleasing others cause you could end up loosing your soul .
It's nice to do things for people

For me, it's about pleasing others. I do very little for myself, which others who are close to me, say is one of my character flaws.

Both because pleasing the people I love pleases me.

Just go to the beach. Why should you be unhappy? Tell the "other people" to come with you.

It is about being the best human being you can with the help of God.

You need to find balance between those two or your life will be miserable.

It should be both.
