Do you fall asleep easily, or does it take awhile to nod off?

If I'm alone, then usually very easily. I can't sleep when I hear someone making any kinds of small noises in an otherwise quiet room or if there's some repetitive but irregular noise that my brain suddenly hyper-focuses on.

@CrazyMusicLover Have you tried a white noise machine? Having a fan on can block out those noises...

@Thevy29 It doesn't work 🥲 I block out familiar regular sounds and hyper-focus on something new and irregular, like bubbles in the radiator or water dripping on the window-sill. The only thing that partly works is wearing headphones with music playing. The problem is that there's always something louder coming on and it might wake me up.
