I think I slurred
My words to her
When I blurted:
"Thanks a lot"

She's a lovely
Server, but
What thought
Occurred
-Did not

Sigh

I mumble with
My accent..
And somewhere
The blur occurs..

I didn't say:
"Thanks ya slut"
But that is what
She heard

She no longer
Will look over
And for sure I
Won't be Served
