@jackrabbit10 Imagine if each province of Canada were to become a US state and instead of a star other symbols are used. Alberta could be a cow's head indicating Alberta Beef. A sheaf of wheat would be Saskatchewan. A big lake could be Manitoba. Quebec could be the Fleur de Lis. PEI could be a potato. NFLD could be an Iceberg. Etc Etc.

@jackrabbit10 I don't think there would be riots in the streets here in Canada if it were to happen.
