Feeling the best I have in decades, then my employer decides to make substantial changes, eliminating 33 positions. Thankfully, I have high seniority so I'm able to stay where I'm at. Unfortunately my younger coworkers will have to relocate for resign. This does not sit well.
The urge to get into the bottle and use it as a numbing agent has been strong, but I refer to the Serenity Prayer and AA. I cannot change what is happening but I can adjust.
