A "great love" is a romantic myth that we should not be used to measure real life. I have had one, my hubs. It's not perfect and it's not "great." It's imperfect and messy and sad and happy and always has been like this. But he is my best friend and my rock and we love each other.

@CoffeeFirst It's the errors of my youth that allows me to be naive enough to believe in great love. But I understand what love really looks like and you put it perfectly. I'm glad you and your hubs can share the highs and lows 💛
