Why does the chance of getting adopted is more if your younger?

They're more expensive in the fact that they'll eat all the food and drive the power and water bills up substantially. However, I think they're adopted less because they aren't cute little kids, and that tends to be what adopting parents are looking for

@Kawaii: They just stay in foster care or, if they don't do well there, get grouped together in a special home.
