I lost a friend who was not just a friend, but also a schoolmate.
About a few days before the last day of school in 1998, he told me he was moving away to a different town and going to a different school and that was the loneliest I ever felt for the first time in my life.
At the time, I felt like there was nothing that could fill the void this experience had left me with.
Still, it's all in the past.

OMG, that's happened with me so much, and, more often these days than ever.
I think people leave you during your darkest times because they don't want to look at the darkness within themselves. They're reminded of their own darkness when they see yours, and they turn away from it.

Yes, in such a way I want to dedicate words to them, but that would be so pointless. I'll stick with being kind and compassionate, let go of hurts I feel, and learn sadly who were in the end fair weather friends. They do not know how they hurt you.

If your standing by your husband that's a good thing cause you don't need no one else even in your darkest hours cause having people around in your darkest times actually can make your life darker . Trust me on that one

Yeah but not as many as I have thought, I'm lucky though. And I pretty much make all of my decisions with the idea that if I woke up Tomorrow with no one at my back then it doesn't matter. So yeah

I’ve been there. One day you will have new friends to fit into your life who will be there for you

Why would your friends leave you just because you are being supportive to your husband?
