Am I just mean?

My boyfriend's (34) sister (23) lives with him and she is afraid of the dark.

He has siri activated lights in his house.
So he set up the hallways lights to go on when she's within a close radius.

He is often home, they have a dog and if she's home alone as its an apartment block the hallways light go on which would give her time to turn on the light.

I know it's not a big deal but it's one of the many things he does to "help" her.

I dunno she comes across very young for her 23 years. 😕 Observers perspective.

Some people have childhood trauma and if they were sexually abused as a kid they will be afraid of the dark sometimes even leading into early adulthood. I was one of those kids and I still sleep with a nightlight because I don’t want to be all the way in the dark.

@TurtlePink I'm sorry to hear this happened to you.
This is not something I can confirm in regards to his sister.

I am aware that she sent a photo to her boyfriend in school and he then sent it to others but that's as far extent of exploitation or heinous secual crime set against her.

Very traumatic I can imagine and not something I laugh about.
@Mellowgirl wtf 😢
