A cheerful song was written in the 1930s called Pick Yourself Up.
A portion of the lyrics:

On 20 January 2009, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, in his inauguration speech, quoted the lyrics in the song, saying "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America".
