I haven't made a post for a long time

And I don't have anything much of interest to say.

BUT! I have a mundane complaint. It costs 30p now for a plastic bag from the supermarket. In how many years has it gone from a penny, to 2p, 5p, 10p?

I'm in favour of the idea and the reasons and I usually bring bags to re-use when I plan to go to the shops. Anyway, it just caught me by surprise 🤷‍♀️

Part of the reason is that plastic bag usage has plummeted. So now it's more expensive for companies to manufacture and distribute them. Lower consumption therefore price increases.
