I haven't made a post for a long time

And I don't have anything much of interest to say.

BUT! I have a mundane complaint. It costs 30p now for a plastic bag from the supermarket. In how many years has it gone from a penny, to 2p, 5p, 10p?

I'm in favour of the idea and the reasons and I usually bring bags to re-use when I plan to go to the shops. Anyway, it just caught me by surprise 🤷‍♀️

But any type of convenience costs money if you think about it, and how do you know that the store’s cost for the bags hasn’t risen as well?

And if you’re spending a fair amount on the purchase, why quibble over a few cents?
