I haven't made a post for a long time

And I don't have anything much of interest to say.

BUT! I have a mundane complaint. It costs 30p now for a plastic bag from the supermarket. In how many years has it gone from a penny, to 2p, 5p, 10p?

I'm in favour of the idea and the reasons and I usually bring bags to re-use when I plan to go to the shops. Anyway, it just caught me by surprise 🤷‍♀️

Insane greed is what it is

@NativePortlander1970 I think it has reduced plastic usage, and waste so it has worked, but now it does just seem like a tax and a profit making idea.
@helsbels Exactly, capitalism is out of control
