his kids a brat and dont listen and will think that trucks a toy

I might have had far to strict parents and siblings at some things. Yet vehicles wasn't one of them. There's a time, a place and a reason for certain laws. And operating vehicles is one of them.

Yes my half brother let me drive at ten years old, but it was on a country road far away from anything and I was still on his lap, in the middle of Arizona.

Very common with iowa farmers to start their kids driving young with smaller lawn tractors, but a full size truck? That's highly irresponsible.
