Or how I look, but I'm just gonna aim to be the best at what it is I choose to do in life.

Even if nobody accepts me or likes me, or if I'm alone.

That’s really all we can do.

None of us are fully and completely ‘happy’ with ourselves….that’s why we are all changing, always.
So just focus on making yourself happy. The rest of the ‘[i]gravy[/i]’ will fall into place 😉
