When I am upset I don't like to be touched

He asked for me to hug him last night and I said no. I told him I love him but I'm upset and I would not hug him right now

Is that awful?

Do others feel this way when upset?

I find it very hard to want to let the person that is upsetting me touch me

You're not bad for it at all! I'm the same! My partner has trouble getting it through his thick skull sometimes and I'll literally see red if gets pushy about touching me when I'm pissed. In fact just this morning he almost got a smack for waltzing in the kitchen singing and dancing trying to grab my butt when I was up with a headache and a fussy baby! 😂

It's just a boundary some people have...make it clear to him when you're not mad that you really need him to respect that!
