You need not get embarrassed about being caught talking to yourself.If anyone calls you out on it you can say it guarantees an intelligent conversation.
I don't get embarrassed.Even when I was 15 and my parents walked in on my boyfriend and I having sex I was not embarrassed.

When I 've come across people talking to themselves - and they have suddenly noticed that I'm nearby - sometimes they start to make noticeable throat-clearing noises,in an attempt to suggest that they hadn't really been talking at all.
