Morals are a facade
There is no good or bad. Who ever has the upper hand wins. I had to be on the recieving end to learn that.

What you "learned" is that sometimes people seem to succeed despite a lack of morals...but the morally bankrupt are not "winners" and their "success" doesn't bring them any more happiness.
Be that way if you don't agree...but I prefer good people who understand why morals are important.

@DragonFruit im just tired of trying to hold to good morals when it seems like noone else really cares and they take advantage of the weak.

@GuyWithOpinions As am I....which makes it all the more important for me to not join those who prey on the weak.
I'm glad that I was able to do fairly well financially without hurting others to do so...but I never viewed money as the ultimate goal.

Morals in themselves aren't a facade. Value is a value.
But painting everything with the same paintbrush is silly. What is good for one may not be good for another. And adhering to the good and bad of society creates hypocrisies at very deep levels.
It is far better to know what our values are and show up authentically in our lives.

@NativePortlander1970 judging by the state of the world, it seems to be an avergae part of human life. Maybe to avoid being murdered we should lrarn to think like the murders.
