Fact of life.

If we are born to die...
What is the point of living?

Seriously...
I wanna know...

Let's assume for a second God doesn’t exists...

No religious response.... give me a human tangible reason...

I am not suicidal so don't worry..
It is a question to spark a real conversation...

What is the point of life?
Why are we here?

Perhaps we are here to help others and improve the lives of others that live beyond us as well as those that come after us. That would be independent of the existence of a superior being.

I like your idea... Asian philosophy at its core....

Could we also assume your success in life would be based on those whose life you touched in some way for the better?

So you are deeply missed by all the lives you have touched...

@nocool Possibly. But it may not be for us to know. Sometimes just a smile or a gesture of support at a time of crisis for an individual makes a huge difference in someone's life that we are never aware of.

I like your thinking....
Even in the worse times we should always give a positive to help anyone who needs it....
Far better way to beat the negative Nellie that loves to put weight on everyones shoulders...

@nocool A burden shared is a burden halved. A joy shared is doubled.

People don't realize that they are always teaching others, no matter what they are doing. And people are watching.

Very wise words indeed...

@nocool I believe we are all interconnected far more than we realize, and that our combined efforts to improve our combined existence on earth and that of future generations is what is most important. Satisfaction, joy, and gratefulness will follow.

@windinhishair
You remind me of a book i read..
The Celestine Prophecy..
It basically states exactly that...
We are all interconnected....

@nocool Interesting. I haven't read it, but I will put it on my list. I work in the environmental field and spend quite a bit of time in nature and have seen first hand how all life is interconnected. Humans are part of the interconnection, though we often ignore it and try to control it.
