I'm not really good at thinking – maybe I'm good at making others think.

@helenS 🤔 explain...
helenS · 36-40, F
@dark548 I don't have answers, but at least I have questions.
dark548 · M
@helenS What kind of questions?
helenS · 36-40, F
@dark548 Are tomatoes still red in the dark?
dark548 · M
@helenS That is actually a quite interesting question about the science of light and color.
helenS · 36-40, F
@dark548 Does a tomato change its color when the illumination changes? Will it still be red in green light?
dark548 · M
@helenS I don't know the answer at the top of my head but I'm pretty sure science has an answer for that presently.
helenS · 36-40, F
@dark548 If science provided you with several incompatible answers, do you think you would be entitled to choose then one you like the most?
dark548 · M
@helenS No because science is about evidence and fact. There is no room for personal feelings in science. If science provides several incompatible answers then that means things are inconclusive until further verifiable data is presented. Science is to prove what is and not what I would like things to be.

@dark548 Regarding you thoughful reply:
Dr. Einstein once said to Werner Heisenberg: “Only the theory decides what one can observe.”
Any comments?
