Enough to make a grown man cry.

Yeah, today I cried some more. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I cry when I'm emotional. I keep trying to keep it under control much as possible. Emotions keeps getting in my way so I keep it on a leash. Control it much as possible.
@FreestyleArt God gave us tears so we could cry and get our emotions out. They help us heal so never be ashamed of crying. That's what they're there for. We always feel better when we cry. God doesn't expect us to stuff our feelings away. That's when you get in trouble emotion-wise.

@LadyGrace but I've keep it inside a bottle in me. My mind keeps it in and I've already know the down side of it. Crying is just a waste of time for me. I don't learn anything from it and nothing but a munipulation to me. I also use the Emotional energy just for my art. Some that is XD
@FreestyleArt I think that's because you have programmed your mind or else someone has told you when you were young that it's a shame for boys to cry I don't know but the Lord definitely gave us tears for healing. I know you've always felt that way about crying, but it's really not a shameful thing and if you look up the psychology of it, even psychologist say it's good to cry. There's not one thing wrong with it. You should give yourself permission to feel and not be ashamed or angry about it. You're really going against yourself when you restrain your emotions. That eats you up inside eventually and that's why people get sick.

@LadyGrace I usually going against myself to just better myself for the Lord...I know it's not right ...somehow I'm just use to it. Idk.....life is just Manipulative all I see.
@FreestyleArt Never a waste of time. Gangstress said it best....thats why we were given tear ducts. Even Jesus wept when he got word that Lazarus died. I'm sure that's not the only time he's cried. I'm sure his tears could fill an ocean. His tears were as blood when he was in The Garden of Gethsemane before he went to die on the cross for our sins.

@LadyGrace now you got a point....but Idk. Maybe I see it to resist against challenges means nothing to me and anything and whatever I'm aware in life. I'm very different in living

I don't know what's the point of crying....maybe I miss something what God sees in Tears. I've been so frustrated everything in life....idk
@FreestyleArt I'm not criticizing or coming down on you but think about this sweet brother..... there's no place in the Bible that says we have to better ourselves for the Lord. So weeping to please the Lord would be in vain. It would accomplish nothing. God never wants us to be ashamed of our emotions or to show emotions. He even told the brothers and sisters in the church to comfort each other when we're hurting.

@LadyGrace I'm not saying this to better ourselves for salvation. We already have salvation through Christ. I'm just very aware what humans or this world comes to. I rather be less human to better myself in this world of Manipulation. Maybe I'm doing it wrong in faith who knows.
@FreestyleArt perhaps sometime in life you got the idea from someone that it's shameful for a man to cry. You know I have even heard grown men say to their children, "Man up! Real men don't cry!" What a horrible thing to say to a child. Especially a child!!! It's telling them directly that they're wrong to have feelings. You may be trying to be brave and stoiced by restraining from crying but all that does is mess up your health and give you ulcers and frustration and you know that because you do have a lot of frustration and that may be why. If you feel like crying then cry and don't ever be ashamed of it. Don't fight those tears and hold them back. That would be unnatural in the Lord's eyes. When people don't allow their own emotions, they're really finding against themselves and denying themselves the right to emotions and then your body takes a toll for it. Maybe that's why some people have heart attacks. It definitely does affect your whole body when you keep pain in or suffering. I believe a person who loves themselves, will allow emotions to come forth. Even a volcano doesn't keep forces inside. Sooner or later it erupts and that's because it can't hold the gas is anymore. I think we should take a lesson from it.

@LadyGrace all I can say...I thank God for giving me the strength to bottle them up. At least there could be fuseful for art. I actually haven't been destructive ever since. Maybe battling my own which is it.
@FreestyleArt yes I know that I'm aware of that. I wasn't speaking of Salvation when I said that. Well there's a lot of manipulation in the world but crying doesn't mean we're being manipulated. It means we've been hurt and we need to get that hurt out. There's nothing controlling about crying. It is a natural emotion that God gave us to use when we're hurt and need to get those hurt feelings out. Don't give it more power than it has or deserves.
@FreestyleArt
all I can say...I thank God for giving me the strength to bottle them up.
Brother, you couldn't have that more backwards, I'm sorry to say. God doesn't want us to bottle up our emotions. Instead, you are forcing yourself to stuff your emotions. That's the difference. The Bible says, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." He's telling us that getting our hurt feelings out and painful feelings out are good for us. He didn't tell us to keep them in. No place in scripture tells us to stuff our feelings. I hope you will work on that because I don't want to see one of my best friends that I love, hurting.

The Bible states that any emotion (happiness, sorrow, worry) should be brought in prayer to God, as stated in Philippians 4:6-7, for bringing our concerns to God allows His peace and guidance to come to us.

Did you know brother, that Psalm 2:4 says, “God sits in the heavens and laughs.” so laughing is an emotion as well, and we don't suppress that. We are not to suppress our emotions, nor allow them to keep us from crying, when we need to. The Word of God is our guidebook. A life in which you suppress your emotions when hurt or upset, will be very painful.
