The current series of wildfires have been acts of terrorism. We are at war after all.

I won't lie that wildfires changed my idea of Mediterranean area as a dream place to live a lot. Meanwhile it doesn't seem like that much changed except people got fucked up in heads or something. I remember that whenever I was there as a kid there was always a lot of dry grass everywhere and for some reason it didn't burn that often.

On the contrary, some idiot regularly used to set dry grass on fire on a hill where I live but it had stopped about 10 years ago. Now it rarely ever happens and if, then it's just small patches and luckily our woods are usually moist enough to not burn easily.
