It's not virtue-signalling for a young person to be deeply concerned about their future and actually bother to do something about it. Unlike you, she will have to face the serious health and economic consequences of decades of inaction over climate change.

So very sorry if she's caused you some momentary inconvenience. But remember you are part of the generation who f**ked up her future in the first place.

@SamInAZI know some other who lived in that state for decades. They seem to have observed changes in the local climate, including fire events and abnormally high temperatures. I had hoped perhaps you’d had a similar experience. But as a recent arrival what you see now would seem normal.

I moved to the Pacific Northwest about 30 years ago. I am an avid outdoorsman, in addition I frequently work in the outdoors both on land and in the sea. So in that 30 years I have noticed significant shifts in the environment. Plants and animals once only seen in the very most southern part of Oregon, are now clear up into Washington.
Barracuda As far north as the Columbia River. And the same with Humboldt squid. The tuna fishing season used to be over at far North beginning of October, now it continue regular late to the beginning of November. We have had more wildfires in the last three years then in the last 15. Perhaps you may wish to re-examine your position on climate changes. I’m very willing, To continue a fact Focused discussion. I am not enthusiastic about people calling each other names. Thank you for your time
