@Lostpoet set expectations for yourself & never shirk on them. Start small, don't overwhelm yourself. You want to develop a stronger work ethic(not calling you lazy, just saying)? Make yourself go a step further at work, pick up new responsibilities. It builds character & you learn things about yourself along the way, your strengths & weaknesses,etc.

@SamInAZ The quote does not profess dwelling upon yourself, though. It really only expresses understanding and accepting yourself.
