Life is fast, not short.

Saying life is short is not only wrong, it's stupid. Life isn't short. It's the longest thing you'll ever do and treating it like it'll end at any moment is exactly how to miss out on life or even shorten. Ironically.
But I've noticed life is incredibly fast. One day, you're having fun with friends, the next you're too busy to see them. It feels like yesterday you went on vacation, but turns out it was 5 years ago. You'll start that hobby tomorrow, you said over a decade ago.
There are plenty of distractions and priorities, of course. But cherish the good times while they're still here and take that chance before it's gone. Not because life is short, because life is fast.
