It feels weird listening to true crimes stories after learning that someone I knew was murdered this week

Unfortunately that’s what happened to a family friend who was rumored to have ended her life. Her death has now been ruled a homicide. I didn’t know her that well, but she was a sweet person when I met her. I hope whoever did it gets caught. It’s probably best to take a break from true crime stories for a while 😮‍💨

I know what you mean. When I found out a friend of a friend was murdered it was all over the news in fragments. It was weird knowing more than those investigating it and hearing incorrect reports on it. Can’t watch true crimes the same way anymore.
