I Don't 'Need to Believe'

Some people find it comforting and some just believe. I don't know why you think everyone should think like you.

This all goes back to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. When you can't self actualize you get stuck making things up and believing it.. Hence, reproducing your bogus theory to the masses.

For a lot of people. I guess they find it comforting the thought extraterrestrials made everything we have. I don't really care tho

If we just leave it at that then we will have less topics to talk / discuss / argue about and many can't afford that

For some, a false hope is better than nothing.
