I feel this way, and it hurts, and I have been in deep love twice, always the one to leave, it's not consolation when you leave, it just affirms who you loved deeply that learned to see we were toxic together, or naive. You are from a loser, you're only holding onto a prayer, a wish, to feel with someone the way you want to feel with them.
And that's actually healthy, all the while it can make you wonder, where did it all go? Would you want a marriage without love? As much I hate parting, and I feel lonely, while I still love them, that love was yesterday (years ago)....
Pucker up, you'll meet your man somewhere, may it be at the supermarket, a dating site, or a rendevouz on your canoe.... You just will.
