Why do people iron??

I have no idea why anyone would iron clothes regularly. I iron the occasional item but in general, no way! Such a waste of time. Hang it on a hanger to dry and it won’t be creased.

My mother almost had a heart attack today when I told her I haven’t got my iron out in about 6 months.

As I told her, she has time to waste! I do not 🤓

Not sure about clothes but it's good for kitchen towels for further disinfection and better storing. I think most of my clothes that tend to crease can't be ironed anyway, so I have no other option than to dry them on a hanger.
