That random time when

I was in line behind a girl (15) with her sister (27). They were talking and then her sister saw a hickey on the girls neck and slapped her, yall my jaw dropped. Is this the appropiate response bc l gotta be ready as my little sister has began dating 🥲
Not in public but if it was a home maybe

I feel her sister handled it wrong. Slapping her isn't going to stop her from screwing around. She will just get better at hiding it.
Maybe she should be talking to her about usung protection.

@Adrift yeah i mean it wasnt like a beat down, it seemed like a knee jerk reaction type of thing but idk maybe that discipline is required w/ teens

@Bananana Discipline is one thing. She needs to learn self respect.
A hickey is kind of like leaving your mark on someone like a cat pisses on its territory.

No I wouldn't say it is at all. Anyway, why shouldn't she date at 15?
Bananana · 22-25, F
@SW-User well i think dating is fine but probably just what usually happens when u get a hickey is the problem

@Bananana she’s 15; it’s going to happen. It is what it is. Older sisters and brothers should instead be offering support and guidance rather than threatening them.

Maybe a quiet word in private would have been more appropriate... But that's just me
If you want to convince someone slapping them is exactly what not to do
How did you know their ages?
Bananana · 22-25, F
@FreeSpirit1 bc immediately after the girl was like "ow dude wtf" where the older sister was like "what is tht shit on ur neck, ur fucking 14" "no im 15 & ur not mom" "idc jess, im 13 years older than you & in charge, im telling mom when we get home. Who tf were u w/ last night? Was it fcking kyle who cheated with taylor" "its not serious dude" i dont remember word for word but thats basically how it went afterward, i was literally gasping for air looking around to see any hidden cameras, ive never witnessed this type of drama in public & esp so upclose, front row seats and everything
@Bananana haha, yes that sounds odd.. nothing is private anymore I guess

Dating sucks is an observation, not an activity.
