@MISTEROK people have kids, and then those kids have kids, and this is true in some form or another for every known species, but this is a process, not a purpose. Evolution/natural selection/reproduction does not act with a purpose (and doesn't act at all). We can say that an individual's genes have been tailored over billions of years to be able to replicate themselves, but again, there is no purpose here, because purpose implies some sort of reasoning or planning.
