How are some people still not able to reply even though they are online and they didn't mute you or anything?

I have seen many times on Instagram that even the girls who didn't restrict or mute me are not even reading my messages. Yeah if they mute or restrict me then it won't show that they are active whereas for some of them girls it does show they are online and their green light is on but still why do they not read my text? Don't they get the notification of messages? I mean I can easily get notified if someone messages me. Or is it different because we guys get pretty much no messages so we are able to check every notifications we get? Btw I am 22 and those girls are 18-23 year olds(mostly 19-22)

Dude, they might just like…not be interested.

I’ve witnessed other people who struggle with this concept.

There is a possibility that you can message someone (even someone you’ve previously messaged, even people you know personally) and they are not interested in that message.

They could not be interested in you.
They could be busy with actual life.
They could not be in the right mindset to be receiving messages from you right now.

Just chill. Don’t take it personally. Move on. But rest assured that there is nothing wrong with the technology.

Also the fact that there are girls that mute/restrict you. This is evidence that you should chill.

@OneDayMore Actually I am 22 and never had a girlfriend before. After having no luck on any dating apps, I am actually using Instagram to try my luck on girls. They were actually in the same school as me but some of them muted and even blocked me because I am still kind of a stranger to them as I was too shy near girls in my school days so never interacted with them in school. Actually whenever the girl ghosts me I feel sad because it will make it difficult to ask her out for a coffee or something.
