it is important to note that some degree of regret is normal and can even be a valuable learning experience. The goal is not to completely eliminate regret, but rather to minimize it and learn from it

Not too much. Though my childhood was a complete nightmare, who I became and the events that occurred in my life as a result of that are things I treasure and would not trade.
