@WillaKissing personally i dont think the US has been in a justifiable conflict since WW2.
It sucks that passivism is only a virture for the governed and not those that would govern; but that is exactly why it should be discarded.
If your average person was far less tolerant of injustices done by their government, then it would be a lot harder for governments to get their people to participate in wars of aggression.
@Eternity I get what you are saying. I was a soldier that voted/votes his conscience, but I was a soldier collecting pay and doing a job I loved, and I had no choice but to do my job.
Just like a person at any other job, do it or get fired and replaced. Of course, since the government called it a war I would not have been fired but imprisoned, and that is not any part of my future plans.
