@cherokeepatti I do the same. Supermarkets here mark things down by 50% when they are at the end of their shelf life. So if I see meat or cheese, etc., at half price I buy a load of it and put it in the freezer.

@ninalanyon I don’t see so much of those in the grocery stores any more. They do good to mark down a big pack of meat a couple of dollars at the most. I made the mistake of buying something from Sam’s Club and cooked it right away. I don’t think it could have lasted another day. So won’t be doing that any more.

@cherokeepatti There is a general trend in Europe to limit food waste from supermarkets. In France they have gone so far as to forbid shops larger than 400 square metres from throwing away edible food; they have to either find a way of selling it or donate it to a foodbank or similar. Similar laws are being discussed or prepared in several other countries.
It's got a little bit of everything so to survive it and fully experience it you have to hang on real strong for the intense moments , enjoy the good parts and hopefully learn as much as you can and contribute good things to the world even if in a small way.

@JohnOinger no I do not have a job. I started an Amazon FBA business while back. Now I just travel with the money I get from my investments. Plus, I don't really trust the American government anymore in terms of finance. They are trusting too much on some German guy
