Getting tested for HIV tomorrow..

My parner was r*ped. Went to donate plasma and wasnt aloud because my blood test came back HIV positive. Went to the clinic and me and my patner both got negative rapid test, but when they took my blood they tested it 3 times 2 negative and 1 positive so i have no clue, but ill get to know soon thankfully

Must wait 3 months after exposure. Antibodies need time to build. False negatives are much more common than false positives.

Get PCR test. This is DNA test and is most accurate. Legally its required for confirmation on first time positives. Make sure this is done.

What happened to the rapist. Did they get charged. Or did they get away. Was there a police report. If not. Then I would be very SUS.
